For booth renters

Booking software for booth renters

Your own booking page, client list and color formulas, in your own account. If the salon you rent from uses Hue & Hair too, link the two and keep the rent agreement on record.

Free during early access: every feature on every plan, no card needed.

When paid plans begin, there's a plan sized to your salon — with at least 30 days' notice, and you only pay if you choose one.

Your book stays yours

  • Your own booking link, hue-and-hair.com/s/your-name, to put in your bio. Clients pick a service and a time, and it lands on your calendar.
  • Your own clients, notes and color formula history, with versions and photos. Photos stay hidden until the client gives consent.
  • Color services split into processing stages, so your calendar shows your open time while color develops.
  • Email reminders 24 hours and 1 hour before each appointment. Text reminders join them once US carrier registration is approved.
  • Record cash, Venmo and Cash App payments. Card payments, deposits and no-show fees aren't available in Hue & Hair yet.

Rent, on record with the salon

For when the salon you rent from runs Hue & Hair on its Team or Enterprise plan. Linking is optional.

  • The salon adds you by your booking-link name. You accept or decline in Settings, under Booth.
  • The salon records your rent amount, how often it is due (weekly, every two weeks or monthly) and your chair number. You see the rent on your side.
  • Hue & Hair keeps the record. It doesn't collect rent or move money between you and the salon.
  • While you are linked, the salon can see your appointments: the time, the service and the client name. Your client records and formulas stay in your account.
  • Either of you can end the link at any time. Your clients and your booking page stay where they are.

What other booking apps charge a booth renter

There are two ways to pay. You run your own account, or the salon adds you to its account and pays for your seat. Here is what each company publishes on its own website, with the date we read it. US prices, before tax.

Questions booth renters ask

Do I need the salon to use Hue & Hair?
No. Your account works on its own. Linking with the salon is optional and only adds the rent record and the shared view of your schedule.
Does Hue & Hair collect my booth rent?
No. It records the amount, how often it is due and your chair. Paying the rent stays between you and the salon.
What happens to my clients if I leave the salon?
They are in your account. Ending the link with the salon does not move or delete them, and your booking link keeps working.
Can the salon see my clients?
While you are linked, the salon can see your appointments, including each client’s name. It cannot open your client records or formulas.
Is it free?
Every feature is open at no cost during our early-access period. No card needed. When paid plans begin, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice, and you'll never be charged unless you choose a plan.
